After a year of commercial engineering (or what she calls merchandising engineering), Jenny studied Biomedical Sciences, with success and a PhD on “The study of genetic factors involved in Paget’s disease of bone” at the University of Antwerp.
Jenny claims she was hired because she happened to use R somewhere in the past. We tend to believe otherwise: she is following classes in chocolate!
We hope that her expertise in both DNA standards and Biotech techniques (e.g. sequencing and digital PCR) can be modified to new algorithms for the Farm.
Her versatility in sciences and project management is equaled only by her other talents that range from first aid over yoga to cooking.
Coincidentally Jenny makes our farm more representative towards the world population than before as she's our first 女同事 and 中国 person.
